Due to current demands and our ever expanding mission at SEMSAR, I've been developing a security training program for members of SEMSAR.  I want the training program to be all inclusive.  The program is in its infancy, but here are some of my ideas:

Basic Law Enforcement Fundementals (getting suspect descriptions, use of force, conflict management, etc.)

Gun and Knife Defense/Retention (this would be utilized in both executive protection and missionary operations)

Hand to Hand Combat (no head high Karate kicks.  Skills that will allow you to escape or apprehend an offender during combat)

After inital training, I would like to explore advance tactics, such as firearms training, force on force simulations, and tactical/emergency response team training (once again applicable in Exec Protect and Missionary Operations).
