Ministry Needs
This page is devoted to listing our various needs, as well as posting the needs of individuals or individual ministries we are affiliated with. If you are able to meet one of these needs, please contact us and let us know.
The ministry of Dr. N.S. Moses located in Bangalore City in Karanataka State, India is in need of musical instruments and sound equipment for use in Gospel crusades.
The Ministry of Pastor John Moparthi (CARE Ministries) is in need of financial contributions to support orphans and to provide medical care for lepers in India.
The Heart4Mexico ministry of Ron Hedrick, has requested our presence in Chetumal to start an ambulance service. We have also been given the opportunity to train the Mexican State Police, and units of the Mexican Military. The cost per person is roughly $3000.00 for a two week stay, including airfare.
The ministry of Dr. Jay Threadgill in Port au Prince, Haiti, is in need of serious financial contributions to get their facility built. SEMSAR also needs to raise finances to offer another security school in Haiti. The cost is roughly $1500.00 a person to make the trip.
*The wonderful part about these last two opportunities, is that we get to preach the Gospel while training secular entities. (Without being sued or threatened by the ACLU!)
Vehicles: SEMSAR is in need of several different vehicles. We need a large recreational-type bus with sleeping quarters that can be utilized as a command center. We also need pick-ups, jeeps, or other SUV type vehicles for off-road use. Old ambulances are a priority as well, as we have several third world areas in need of ambulance service. New ambulances are even more appreciated.
Building: SEMSAR is looking for a building to serve as our permanent headquarters in Missouri. We would prefer an old church with a large sanctuary, that could be converted to a training area.
Police Gear: SEMSAR needs donations of used or new police gear. Anything is appreciated. We need uniforms, radios, tone pagers, nightsticks, handcuffs, leather gear, pepper spray, etc. We take what most departments have in their throw away bin, and gift it to ministries in third world countries.
Medical Equipment: We will take any serviceable medical equipment. Anything from stethyscopes, to bandages, to ICU monitoring equipment. We will even take expired pharmaceuticals. We recently delivered a shipment of drugs that were expired by three years to a small clinic in Chetumal, Mexico. Our contact there stated that the nurse in charge wept, because our gift of drugs was newer than what was available at the city hospital.
Tents: Need several. Also need surplus military equipment. IE: backpacks, sleeping bags, mess gear, etc.
